Reports of bed bug infestations have increased dramatically and the upcoming holiday season puts many of our Bumkins followers at risk as they make their travel plans. We here at Bumkins are honored to be recognized as STARS’ Community Employer of the Year. As part of October’s National Disability Employment Awareness month, STARS has selected Bumkins for our work with their Business Solutions Work Center and our support for other agencies like Goodwill.
STARS hosted a Fashion Show and Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 8 at 11am at the Chaparral Suites Hotel. Along with the Community Employer recognition, STARS honored two individuals who participate in the STARS program.
Bumkins is made up of employees who care, not just about our business but about the community and the amazing individuals that make up our society. We thank STARS and are delighted to have received such prestigious recognition.
