My diaper stash consists of prefolds, all in ones and now one size diapers. I just started using one size and like them. I think one size are good once newborn stage has passed and if they potty train early. Bumkins makes great quality diapers and maybe should try some one size.
Just like every type, it has its place. I have a variety of sized & one-size (OS) diapers and I go back and forth between one particular brand of OS diapers versus the sized diapers on which are my favorite. I do agree though that if you’re using a OS, it may not hold up for multiple children (if that’s your intent) unless you have a LARGE stash and they’re not getting as much wear. OS diapers are great because you don’t have to buy new ones if your kid magically grows overnight but sized diapers are great because they seem to be more trim overall. We used prefolds & covers up until about 6 months or so before making the switch to other diapers. Overall, I love our OS diapers, but they’re not always my first choice when packing the diaper bag due to the bulk
I must say that I really prefer the prefolds with a bumkins cover.. I am using the same prefolds and some of the same covers for my 3rd child. And I could still sell them for extra cash if I wanted to.. but I’m still undecided about having anymore?
